This vintage hardcover 400-page Better Homes & Gardens New Cook Book contains over 1,500 tested recipes and 182 new kitchen-tested cooking tips. The copyright date is 1968. It contains some of your very favorite recipes - many of the recipes you grew up eating!

There are 20 alphabetically tabbed chapter dividers with a recipe index on each. The cover is moisture and stain resistant and easily wipes cleans.

This BH and G cookbook is from a nonsmoking, pet-free home. It is in good condition. The spine is nice and tight, and the cookbook opens and closes easily. I don't see any writing or highlighting in this old cookbook - it has lots of years left! The bottoms on a couple of the early pages are rough, and the bottom right-hand corner of the index has gotten wet at some time. These corners of the index are slightly discolored and wrinkled.
