Egyptian Doll with Colorful Cloth Costume

This 18" cloth doll from Egypt is dressed in a very colorful costume. Her black yarn hair is tied in a pony tail at the top of her head with hot pink thread. She is wearing a long bright orange colored gauzy head scarf trimmed in shiny gold. Her big metal earrings are 2" in diameter, and she is wearing a metal hanging pendant.

This vintage doll is wearing a beautiful doll costume consisting of a dress with a turquoise top trimmed in gold rickrack and a red skirt with an orange gauzy overskirt trimmed in shiny gold. Her collar is red felt, and her shoes are a deep purple and black felt.

I bought this doll from a lady who lived in Egypt and Jordan and collected dolls during that time. I have listed one other doll from Egypt and two from Jordan. She thought they were 20 to 25 years old.

This collectible doll is in excellent condition. It was displayed and not played with. It looks like it was handmade. Very unique and beautiful. Take a look at the pictures.
