Goebel Co-Boy Figurine - Bit the Bachelor 1970

This Goebel CoBoy figurine is named Bit the Bachelor - he is frying eggs. He
is numbered 503, has the Goebel trademark TMK6, is dated 1970, and is 7-3/4" tall.
He was manufactured by Goebel Germany. He comes complete with its original story
card. Co-Boys are perfect examples of Goebel collectibles.
He is from my personal collection of Goebel porcelain and is in very good condition.
This Goebel figure does have a small amount of crazing on the base, but it is not
very noticeable. He is not faded and has a clear name tag. There are no chips, cracks,
paint flaws, or repairs in this vintage collectible.
Here is the story of Bit. Bit, the typical bachelor, whose wife left him, takes
care of all his personal needs himself. Unlike other typical bachelors, Bit is not
a good cook and his menu consists of eggs and eggs again. His most usual meal is
Sunny Side Up. Other days he will have scrambled eggs, fried eggs, egg salad, or
hard boiled eggs. With a menu like this, Bit needs lots of eggs, so he has an egg
farm with dwarf hens. Every Friday, Bit has a hen - or rather bachelor - party,
and his best friend comes to visit him and helps him celebrate. The main course
at this bachelor party is Eggs Sunny Side Up.
