This Goebel CoBoy vintage collectible figurine is named Wim the Court Supplier,
and he was made by Goebel Germany. Wim holds a large sausage and cleaver. He is
numbered 507, has the Goebel trademark TMK6, is dated 1970, and is about 8" tall.
He comes complete with its original story card. Co-Boys are perfect examples
of Goebel collectibles.
He is from my personal collection of Goebel porcelain and is in very good condition.
This Goebel figure is not faded and has a clear name tag. There are no chips, cracks,
paint flaws, crazing, or repairs.
Here is the story of Wim. Wim is famous for his sausage. A protegee of Maestro
Mortadelia, the Italian Sausage King, Wim learned the art of sausage making so well
his fame spread far beyond the limits of Co-Boy Village. The townspeople are so
proud of Wim, they honored him by naming the alley that leads to the town Courtyard
and market place Wim Alley. Co-Boys, who are his greatest patrons and boosters,
have nicknamed him "Court Supplier" because his sausage kitchen is in the Courtyard.
