This Goebel figurine is from my personal collection of Goebel porcelain and is

cracks, paint flaws, or repairs.
Here is the story of Porz. Porz is the famous mushroom expert of Co-Boys Village.
Why does a small community like the Co-Boys Village need a mushroom expert? Because
mushrooms are the favorite food of all Co-Boys. People in Co-Boys Village start
eating mushrooms as children and eat it all their lives. Not knowing how to tell
a poisonous mushroom from a nonpoisonous mushroom, they need an expert to help them.
Everyday Porz goes to the market Square to sell his mushrooms. He is famous for
the size of the mushrooms he cultivates, and his competition would like to learn
the secret of how he grows such large mushrooms. But each night as Porz counts his
sales receipts, he asks his wife, "Isn't it wonderful that I inherited grandmother's
book on how to grow mushrooms?"
