Send your friends a link to this page
This Don Juan figurine is part of the Dolly Dingle Series by Goebel. Grace
Drayton designed Dolly Dingle, and these figurines are some of the cutest
figurines that Goebel ever produced.
The number
of this Goebel collectible is 11462-13, and it is dated 1981. The bottom of the
figurine says: 11 462-13/Dolly Dingle Series/in Association with/The Margaret Woodbury
Strong Museum/Dolly Dingle's Friend Don Juan/Goebel/W.Germany/1981."
This Don Juan (Spain) is a hand-painted ceramic figurine. It was designed and
crafted by the master artisans of Goebel, the renowned giftware manufacturer in
Bavaria, W. Germany. The original drawings of Dolly's creator, Grace Drayton, were
the inspiration for these beguiling sculptures.
Dolly Dingle figurines are hard to come by, so don't let this one get a way.
It is from my own private collection. I still collect Dolly Dingle figurines, but
this is a duplicate.
It is 5-3/4" tall and is in excellent condition.
