Vintage Brooches - Unsigned
Many unsigned vintage brooches are equal in quality to many signed vintage brooches.
Often the brooches were not signed on the actual piece. Instead, a hangtag was
attached to the brooch, and these were often lost over the years. Some jewelry
manufacturers simply did not sign their pieces. For example, Juliana pieces are
of extremely high quality, but they were never marked. Remember, just because a
piece of vintage jewelry is not signed, it does not mean that it is of inferior
quality.
