Wood Jewelry Chest - Original Key and Padlock

This wood box comes complete with the original key and padlock! Usually those items are lost, so it is unusual to see them with the chest.

This cedar chest is very well made. Take a look at the mitering at all four corners and the design at the bottom of each side. The hinges, brass (I believe) decorative strips on the top, and latch are all original and in great structural condition. There is surface discoloration, but I believe it adds to its character! The box is very clean - inside and outside. It has been well taken care of.

Measurements: 9-1/8" wide, 5-3/4" deep, and 3-5/8" tall.

This would make a great vintage jewelry, trinket, hanky, or whatever box! Lots of possibilities.
