This cute enamel and rhinestone Christmas Santa boot is signed "ART" on the back
and dates to the 1950s. This Santa boot is filled with brightly colored packages
and three colored rhinestones: a sapphire, a ruby, and a topaz colored rhinestone.
This item comes packaged in a beautiful gift box.
He is almost 1-3/4" long and is in very good condition. There is a slight amount
of enamel loss on the underside of the boot, but it is not visible when worn.
ART (also called ModeArt) was costume jewelry produced by Art Mode Jewelry Creations,
Inc. It was in business from the 1940's until the late 1960's. This company was
named for its founder, Arthur Pepper, and was known for the uniqueness and originality
of their jewelry. They offered a broad range of designs that can be likened to Florenza
and Hollycraft. They often resemble the Victorian and Renaissance Revival jewelry.
