Coro Clip On Earrings - Signed - Blue Rhinestone Flower Shaped

This pair of prong-set signed Coro clip earrings is beautiful. The large center
rhinestone is very sparkly, and the two rows of metal surrounding the center look
like flower petals. This item comes packaged in a beautiful gift box.
These clip-back earrings are slightly over 1" across and are set in silver-tone
metal. They are in very good condition. The metal petals show some wear - some of
the petal tips are shinier than other parts. I can't tell for sure if this is wear
or just the way they are supposed to look. I think they look great just the way
they are! One back clip isn't as snug as the other one, but it stays on just fine.
Emanuel Cohn and Gerard Rosenberg opened a small shop in New York about 1900
selling jewelry and personal accessories, later becoming known as Coro. The
mark incorporates the first two letters of each partner's name. By the mid
1920's, Coro was the largest manufacturer of costume jewelry with a work force of
over 2,000. The Coro company went out of business in 1979 after 80 years of making
costume jewelry.
