Weiss Rhinestone Clip On Earrings - Signed - Clear
These signed Weiss clip-on earrings are gorgeous and very sparkly! Look at the
many shapes of clear rhinestones! These are from an estate sale.
They are approximately 1-1/4" long and 7/8" wide. They are marked WEISS on the
clip. They are in excellent condition - they look like they have never been worn!
The rhinestones are clear not yellowish as some show in the picture.
The Weiss Jewelry Company was founded in New York City in 1942 by a former Coro
employee, Albert Weiss. The company flourished during the 1950s and 1960s period,
offering high quality costume jewelry with excellent Austrian rhinestones of exceptional
quality and clarity. Weiss jewelry has somewhat traditional designs, including floral
and figural jewelry. Weiss jewelry is comparable to Eisenberg and Bogoff jewelry.
Without a doubt, the company manufactured some of the most beautiful jewelry and
appealing rhinestone jewelry of the post WWII era. The firm ceased operations in
the early 1970s, and prices are rapidly rising.
