The embroidery on this pair of vintage pillow cases is beautiful. I love the colors - pink and purple cross stitched flowers and purple French knots with green stems. The hem is a bright pink color. Beautiful!

These vintage pillowcases were definitely made by hand, probably on a treadle sewing machine. Although there a number of small holes, there is a lot of use left in these pillowcases. They would also look good displayed on your bed or a guest bed. I have seen the embroidery work framed and made into beautiful pictures. Lots of possibilities!

I bought these at an estate sale of a very old lady who made a lot of nice items.
