Country Ware Pewter Plates - Ichabod Crane

These Country Ware pewter plates from 1975 are engraved with "Ichabod Crane's
Tarry Town Tavern" and "Roast'd Prime Ribs" on the front. I love the picture on
the front - very unique. These plates are very similar to Wilton Armetale RWP plates
- comparable quality, weight, and appearance. These would be great for decorating
or for using! The gentle glow of pewter, a classic colonial metal, is a mellow
alternative to silver or chrome.
They are in excellent condition. There are a few scratches on the front, but
they may be from the manufacturing process. These marks certainly are not very visible.
Measurements: almost 10-1/2" across. These plates are very heavy - each plate
weighs 1 pound, 11 ounces!
