This beautiful Nippon hand painted china cup and saucer are very old. "NIPPON"
is stamped in red on the saucer. Nippon is porcelain made in Japan between 1891
and 1921. Nippon porcelain is among the most highly-collected and sought after of
all antique china.
The pattern is rose-colored flowers and green leaves trimmed in raised white
paint. There is a gold-colored band in the design, and the rim of the cup and saucer
and the cup handle are trimmed with gold. Take a look at the pictures.
They are in very good condition. There is very little wear to the gold trim on
the cup and saucer, and I don't see any cracks, chips, repairs, or crazing.
The saucer is 5-3/8" across, and the cup is 2" tall and 3-3/4" across the top.
