Candy Dish - Hand Painted

Send your friends a link to this page

This early handpainted dish is so beautiful. Although it is not marked, this candy bowl is authentic and not a reproduction! I bought it at an estate sale of an elderly lady who had a collection of old hand painted bowls and dishes. This antique candy dish looks like other Nippon items that I have.

I love the hand painted design on a pale green background - beautiful purple flowers with green leaves. The flowers look like violets. The outside of the bottom of the bowl is a very pale green, and the inside of both pieces is white.

This candy bowl measures 5-1/2" tall with the lid on.  It is slightly more than 5-1/4" across the opening of the bowl.

Both pieces are in excellent condition - no chips, repairs, or fading to this hand painted Nippon! The gold paint on the handle does not even show wear.

Item:  JS1902

Price:  $42.00 - SALE $29.97
