Lefton Christmas Bell - White Holly Pattern
This 3.25" Lefton Christmas bell is in the White Holly pattern. It is from the
1970 - 1971 time period. The four sides of the bell flare from the top to the bottom.
This Lefton porcelain bell has an overall pattern of holly leaves. The holly leaves
on the bottom part of the bell are glazed in a shiny white, and the holly leaves
on the top part of the bell are glazed in green with red holly berries.
The handle is an open work circle of rolled holly leaves, and the clapper is
three red porcelain holly berries hung from a red satin cord. The Lefton bell is
numbered 6053 and dated 1970/71. The original red and gold foil Lefton sticker is
still intact. It says "Lefton Trademark Exclusives Japan."
This Lefton bell can be found in the book "Collector's Encyclopedia of Lefton
China - Book III" by Loretta DeLozier.
This vintage Lefton collectible is in excellent condition.
