This unique Belleek china serving dish features Belleek's classic hand-sculpted
basketweave pattern. Green shamrocks are hand-painted on each side. Although
this piece of Belleek porcelain is called a marmalade bowl, it can be used as a
small serving bowl or a ramekin for serving dips or sauces.
All Belleek porcelain is created entirely by hand in Belleek, Ireland. No two
pieces are ever the same. Belleek's reputation has been built on product
excellence.
The trademark on the bottom of this Belleek piece shows an Irish Wolfhound
with the head turned to face one of Ireland's distinctive round towers - the
model for which is believed to have been Devinish Round Tower on the Lower Lough
Erne's Devenish Island. Sprigs of shamrock border the ends of a banner at the
base of the design, which carries the single word BELLEEK in capital letters.
The word IRELAND follows.
This shamrock Belleek bowl is 4-1/8" across the top, and it is 2-1/4"
tall.
