Old Pottery Blue Banded Beater Jar

This antique crockery cobalt blue-banded beater jar is in excellent condition. It is 5-1/4" tall and 4-1/2" across the top. I have a similar one that I use for kitchen utensils.

This stoneware crock has a rounded interior to accommodate the beater top. These stoneware jars were used for making salad dressing such as mayonnaise and mustard before they were so readily available at the grocery stores.
