This old, discontinued genuine Fiesta coffee pot with lid is made by the Homer
Laughlin Company in 1986 or later. This is considered Post86. Although it is not
the old vintage Fiesta, it is a beautiful coffeepot that is highly collectible.
I love the beautiful turquoise color of this coffee server.
Fiesta ware is probably the most readily recognized lines that Homer Laughlin
China Co. of Newell, West Virginia, produced. The vintage art deco-style Fiesta
was introduced at a trade show in 1936, and production continued until the late
1960’s. They reintroduced the line in 1986, and it remains popular today. Post86
refers to the Fiesta issued in 1986 and later.
Measurements: 9" tall to the top of the lid, and the base is 3-1/4" across, and
6-1/2" wide from the edge of the spout to the edge of the handle.
This Fiesta coffee server is in very good condition. The only problem is a small
chip in the bottom back of the base. Take a look at the picture. I don't see any
other chips, cracks, or repairs. If this coffeepot is displayed on a shelf, the
chip will not be seen. I have discounted this piece considerably because of this
chip.
